HENADZY HAVARTSOU

I was educated at the Masherov University in Vitebsk, art-graphic faculty. Painting teacher Valentina Lyakhovich gave me the most important thing - a feeling of freedom of creativity.

I was born and now live in Vitebsk, which is known all over the world as a place of birth or work of avant-garde giants - Chagall, Kandinsky, Malevich, whom I also consider to be my teachers. I feel the same aura that inspired these great artists.

As an artist, I am happy that I have the opportunity to express myself on canvas, but I am doubly happy when I have fans of my work, when strangers experience the emotions from my creativity.

My works are presented in many private collections in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, France, Great Britain, Israel, Turkey, Luxembourg, Portugal, Finland, USA and others.

I love to travel on my own, and also annually take part in international plein airs in Poland and Slovakia, which gives new impressions and a pleasant atmosphere of communication with other artists. I write a lot of etudes from nature. Nature is the most talented artist, and you can learn from her endlessly. Abstract painting did not immediately become my most favorite style of painting. In order to express myself and emotions in abstraction, i needed to change myself inside, to form my own personal philosophical view of the world. However, it is often realistic etudes that give life to new abstractions, sometimes it is a palette of colors, sometimes a composition, sometimes memories of a journey in which an etude was painted. Having started work on canvas, I do not know what will happen at the end, because during the work the painting dictates each next stroke, everything is unpredictable.
